In the United States, Ulthera treatments have become called ULTHERAPY™.
Previous non-surgical technologies for lifting and tightening skin (Thermage, Titan etc.) have, in general, proven to be rather disappointing and very painful, therefore, unlike other clinics, we have not invested in them.
ULTHERAPY™ is very different. It is a completely new type of technology. It is FDA approved in the USA for skin tightening and lifting. It is completely non-invasive and is highly effective on a large percentage of people.
There is no ‘downtime’ and it is thought that the results should be relatively permanent (excepting the natural aging process).
The safety profile of the treatment is excellent and Dr Diane Duncan, a leading US Plastic Surgeon, who is a close colleague of ours, has had great success with Ultherapy treatment in her own practice, as have many of her US colleagues.
