When this has happened, a surgical neck lift may the be the only solution to remove this excessive skin.
We can rejuvenate the skin of the neck and décollté areas with botox, medical skin peels, pigmentation treatments (e.g. Amelan®), mesotherapy injections, cell therapy injections and broken vein treatments. Sun spots can be removed, as for the face.
Line fillers cannot be used as the skin is too thin, but mesotherapy injections often give very good results on fine lines, horizontal neck lines and crêpey skin.
The contours of the neck and jowls can often be improved with lipotherapy and this treatment can also be used to produce some skin tightening of the neck and jowl area in suitable people.

Neck and Décollté
Keep your skin young and beautiful
Many of the rejuvenation treatments that we use for the face can also be used for the neck and décollté.
The skin of these areas is generally thinner than on the face and therefore care must be taken with choice of products and treatments to ensure the best results.
Prevention of sun damage and premature skin aging of these areas is very important, but is often forgotten about and adequate sun protection is an essential part of any after care programme post-treatment.
The décollté (upper chest) area in ladies is particularly prone to sun damage and is often inadequately protected by many people. Signs of sun damage can then begin to become visible as soon as the late twenties or early thirties.
It is often wise to start rejuvenation treatments of these areas at an early stage because once the skin begins to thin and degenerate beyond a certain point, it will lose its elasticity and begin to stretch, particularly over the neck, to a considerable degree.
Effective anti-aging skin care products are just as important for these areas as for the face and their use is recommended from as young an age as possible.
As the medical rejuvenation of the neck and décollté areas can therefore be rather complex, sometimes with many different treatment choices and decisions to be made, we recommend that you book a consultation prior to deciding on any treatment.
We can then best advise you which treatment options will be suitable for your particular problem and we can advise you in detail about the results that you should expect to achieve.
