About Us - Our Team
Dr Mark Palmer
Dr Mark Palmer is the founder and medical director of our clinics. He is a fully qualified and experienced medical doctor and still works on a part-time basis as a practicing NHS GP.
He is full member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors and has over six years' extensive experience of cosmetic medicine. He has frequently been featured and quoted in the local and national press and his experience of certain treatments is internationally renouned. He has been invited on many occasions as an expert speaker to lecture and demonstrate his techniques at major cosmetic medical conferences in the UK, Europe and the USA.
He works closely with Dr Claudia van der Lugt, inventor of the Alizonne therapy and founder of the original Alizonne clinic in the Netherlands. With her help, he is proud to have brought the Alizonne therapy to the UK and to be able to offer this unique treatment at our clinics in both Leeds and Harley Street, London.

Dr Ian Sanderson is a very highly qualified and widely experienced medical doctor who also currently works as a practicing NHS GP.
He is a member of both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of General Practitioners. In addition, he has a post-graduate Diploma in Dermatology.
He has been fully trained by Dr van der Lugt in all aspects of the Alizonne therapy and consults and supervises patients at our clinics specifically undertaking this treatment.

Anne Welford - Executive Manager
Anne has held senior managerial roles for the past 15 years and has always worked in prestigious environments which demand extremely high levels of customer satisfaction.
Anne is responsible for the overall smooth running and successful operation of the clinics but has also been fully trained in the Alizonne Therapy as a clinical assistant and has lost over three stones on the treatment as a patient herself.
Anne has a mature, down to earth approach which makes clients feel very much at ease and should be the first point of contact should clients have any queries, problems or suggestions.

Jacky Place RGN - Clinic Manager, Alizonne London
Jacky joined our London team after working at the exclusive London Clinic for several years.
She is a fully qualified and very experienced senior nurse whose areas of expertise have included patient care, research and theatre management. She has in-depth knowledge of many medical and surgical disciplines and has also previously worked as a practice nurse.
She has been fully trained in all aspects of the Alizonne Therapy by Dr van der Lugt & her team from the Netherlands and has also undertaken this treatment as a patient herself.
Her mature and calm attitude makes clients feel confident that they are being cared for by a very experienced and knowledgeable senior nurse.

James Smith - Physicians’ Assistant
James works as physicians’ assistant to Drs Palmer, Prasad and Sanderson and is our longest serving member of staff. He has been with us for over four years since the clinic was based at its previous premises and has amassed a huge wealth of knowledge and experience over this time.
He is helpful and approachable and is able to answer many questions and queries from clients in a professional, knowledgeable and informed manner.
Additionally, he has been fully trained in our laser teeth whitening treatment (Starlite®) and enjoys carrying out this procedure for clients.

She joined our team after working for several years as a specialist nurse in the oncology team at St James' University Hospital, Leeds.
She has extensive experience in cosmetic medical procedures and also performs our colonic hydrotherapy treatment.
She has been fully trained in the Alizonne therapy and now has over two years' experience in working with this treatment.
She has helped very many clients successfully achieve their goals with her characteristically professional, friendly and helpful manner.
